Terms of Service
Effective September 8, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of DesignThrill ("DesignThrill," "we," "us," or "our"), including our website, dashboard, and design subscription service (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or subscribing to the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
DesignThrill is a subscription-based design service. Subscribers submit design requests through a dedicated request board and receive completed work in return, subject to the plan they are subscribed to. Requests are worked on one at a time per active subscription; additional requests are queued and completed sequentially. Average turnaround is 24–48 hours per request, though complex requests may take longer and will be communicated as such on your board.
Design work is produced using industry-standard tools, primarily Figma for design and Webflow for front-end development, unless otherwise agreed. Final source files and assets are made available to you as part of your subscription.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
3. Subscriptions & Billing
The Service is billed on a recurring monthly basis in advance, processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on file at the start of each billing cycle until you cancel.
Pausing. You may pause your subscription at any time from your billing dashboard. While paused, billing is suspended and no charges occur. Any remaining days on your current billing cycle at the time of pausing are preserved ("banked") and applied to your next billing cycle once you resume — they are never lost.
Canceling. You may cancel at any time from your billing dashboard. Cancellation stops future billing; you retain access to the Service for any time already paid for in your current cycle (including banked days carried over from a prior pause), after which your account and board access will be archived.
Plan changes. You may switch between available plans at any time; changes are prorated automatically by our billing provider.
4. Refunds
Our refund practices are described in full in our Refund Policy. In summary: new subscribers who are not satisfied within their first seven (7) days may request a 75% refund of their first payment, no questions asked. Beyond that first-week window, payments for ongoing monthly subscriptions are non-refundable, though you may pause or cancel at any time to stop future billing.
5. Revisions
Feedback and revision requests may be submitted directly on the relevant request card in your dashboard. We iterate on active requests until the work meets the agreed specification, at no additional cost, within the scope of the original request.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Request or produce content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, or fraudulent;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, other accounts, or non-public areas of the Service;
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service;
- Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our prior written consent.
We reserve the right to decline requests that violate this section, and to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
7. Intellectual Property
Upon full payment for a given billing cycle, you own the final deliverables produced for you during that cycle. We retain the right to display completed work in our portfolio and marketing materials unless you request otherwise in writing. We retain all rights to our underlying tools, templates, platform, and Service infrastructure.
8. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third-party providers to operate, including payment processing (Stripe), project board hosting (Trello), authentication and data storage (Supabase), transactional email (Resend), and application hosting (Vercel). Your use of the Service is also subject to those providers' own terms where applicable to the services they provide us.
9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, DesignThrill will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the three (3) months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent or abusive conduct, or fail to pay amounts owed. You may terminate your account at any time by canceling your subscription as described in Section 3.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
